                     OUR NEXT TRAINING WILL BEGIN FALL, 2010
 
To learn more about CASA before making a decision to enter our training, please call the CASA office.  Training occurs in the Spring and Fall.  There are 10 classes, which will last about 3 hours each, and will be held primarily on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.  Most will be in the evening (beginning about 6:00 PM), but there will be a few sessions held in late afternoon (beginning about 4:00 PM).

 

You will also be required to attend a mandatory orientation session prior to the first training class.
 
If you are interested in spring training or entering the spring training class, please contact the office.

 

CASA volunteers must be at least 21 years old and are required to complete a training program of approximately 35 hours.  We also ask CASA volunteers to make a commitment to the program of 1 ˝ to 2 years minimum, because we do emphasize maintaining consistency for a child – being there throughout the duration of the child’s case.

 

To begin the process of becoming a CASA just click on the sublinks to your left and print these three forms:

         § CANTS (Child Abuse/Neglect Tracking System) 
                               Authorization release

         §  LEADS Criminal History (N.C.I.C.) release

Complete the forms, and then return all three documents to the CASA office at the following address:
